We are hiring an experienced and self-reliant Community Health Nurse (RN) to serve in a primary care capacity within a northern community health setting in Yellowknife, NT. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, conducting health assessments, providing immunizations, managing chronic conditions, and responding to public health concerns.

Deliver community-based primary care, health education, and outreach

Conduct public health surveillance and communicable disease control

Provide immunizations, chronic disease management, and pre/post-natal care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and local leadership

Respond to medical emergencies with sound clinical judgment

Maintain accurate health records and documentation
المتطلبات
-
Active RN license in Canada (Nursing registration with NWT RNANT/NU preferred)

Current BLS certification; ACLS and TNCC an asset

Strong critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and adaptability

Ability to work autonomously in Travel Assignment or underserved locations
