We are hiring a compassionate and dependable Trabajador de apoyo personal (PSW) para un contrato de viaje en un centro de cuidados a largo plazo en Petrolia, Ontario. As a key member of the care team, you will provide daily living assistance, emotional support, and dignified care to elderly residents in a home-like setting.

This role is ideal for PSWs who are flexible, empathetic, and ready to support seniors in a rural community.

Responsabilidades clave

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Support residents with mobility and safe transfers

• Provide companionship and social interaction

• Follow care plans and record accurate observations

• Assist with meals and feeding as needed

• Collaborate with nurses and allied health staff to ensure quality care

• Maintain a clean and safe environment in line with infection control guidelines

Requisitos

• Completion of an approved PSW Certificate Program

• Mínimo 1 año of experience in long-term or elder care

• Actual RCP/Primeros auxilios certificación

• Excellent communication and bedside manner

• COVID-19 vaccination and clear vulnerable sector police check

• Willingness to relocate temporarily for the assignment
