We are currently hiring a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to cancer patients undergoing treatment at a major facility in Winnipeg. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering chemotherapy, managing side effects, and supporting patients through all stages of care.
This role offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families while applying evidence-based oncology nursing practices.
Responsabilidades clave

Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses

Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and side effects

Provide emotional support and palliative care as needed

Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and social workers

Maintain accurate documentation and participate in care planning

Ensure adherence to oncology safety protocols and infection control standards
Requisitos

Active RN license in Canada (CRNM or eligibility for Manitoba licensure)

Oncology Nursing Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Mínimo 1 año experience in oncology or medical-surgical nursing

Actual BLS certification; ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy preferred

Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
