Responsabilidades clave

Function as scrub and circulating nurse during surgical procedures

Maintain a sterile field and ensure instrument accuracy and availability

Monitor patient condition throughout the intraoperative phase

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR techs

Anticipate needs of the surgical team and respond promptly

Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols

Accurately document intraoperative care in the electronic health record
Requisitos

Activo Licencia de RN con el Colegio de Enfermeras y Matronas de Columbia Británica (BCCNM)

Completion of a Perioperative Nursing (OR) certificate or equivalent training
-
Actual BLS y ACLS certificación

Mínimo 1-2 años of recent experience in a hospital-based OR setting

Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis and OR protocols

Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

Willingness to work on-call and in emergency cases as needed
