We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Enfermero de quirófano (OR RN) to join a high-performing surgical team in Vancouver. The RN will play a key role in intraoperative care, ensuring safety and precision throughout procedures across multiple specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, and neurosurgery.

Responsabilidades clave

• Function as scrub and circulating nurse during surgical procedures

• Maintain a sterile field and ensure instrument accuracy and availability

• Monitor patient condition throughout the intraoperative phase

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR techs

• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and respond promptly

• Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols

• Accurately document intraoperative care in the electronic health record

Requisitos

• Activo Licencia de RN con el Colegio de Enfermeras y Matronas de Columbia Británica (BCCNM)

• Completion of a Perioperative Nursing (OR) certificate or equivalent training

• Actual BLS y ACLS certificación

• Mínimo 1-2 años of recent experience in a hospital-based OR setting

• Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis and OR protocols

• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

• Willingness to work on-call and in emergency cases as needed
