Job Overview

We are currently hiring a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a reputable Rehabilitation Unit in Saint John. This position offers the opportunity to support patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic surgery, spinal cord injuries, and other life-altering conditions. You will play a key role in fostering recovery, independence, and quality of life.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing physical and cognitive rehabilitation

  • Monitor patient progress and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning

  • Administer medications and manage treatment protocols

  • Educate patients and families about recovery plans and at-home care

  • Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems

  • Uphold safety, dignity, and infection control standards


Requirements

  • Active RN license with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB) or eligibility to register

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in rehab, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred

  • Current BLS/CPR certification

  • Strong assessment, communication, and care coordination skills

  • Clear vulnerable sector screening and full immunization record required
