Job Overview
We are hiring a detail-oriented and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Neurology Unit travel assignment in Quebec City. In this role, you’ll provide care to patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions such as strokes, seizures, neuromuscular disorders, and post-operative neurosurgery cases.
This position is ideal for RNs with strong critical thinking skills and a passion for neurological patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor neurological status and recognize early signs of deterioration

Administer medications, IV therapies, and monitor treatment responses

Provide post-op care for neurosurgical patients

Collaborate with neurologists, therapists, and support staff to implement care plans

Educate patients and families on condition management and rehabilitation goals

Document assessments and interventions in EMR systems
Requirements
-
Active RN license with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) or eligibility
-
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a neurology or med-surg setting

Bilingual (English/French) strongly preferred

Current BLS certification (ACLS an asset)

Excellent neurological assessment and clinical judgment skills
