Job Overview
We are seeking a supportive and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to assist residents in a mental health group home in Fredericton, New Brunswick. This role involves daily living assistance and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, meals, and mobility

Support clients with emotional regulation and daily structure

Monitor behavior changes and report to supervisors

Engage clients in recreational and social activities

Maintain documentation and safety protocols
Requirements

PSW or Healthcare Assistant (HCA) certification in BC
-
Experience working in mental health or group homes preferred

Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations

Strong observational and communication skills

Able to work evenings and weekends
