Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel RN to join a Dialysis Unit in Saskatoon. You’ll be responsible for managing the care of patients undergoing hemodialysis, ensuring treatment safety, patient comfort, and effective monitoring throughout each session.
This role is ideal for nurses with renal experience who are looking to make a difference in a high-demand setting while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of travel nursing.
Key Responsibilities

Set up, initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis treatments

Monitor patient vitals and vascular access throughout sessions

Administer medications as prescribed during dialysis treatment

Respond promptly to adverse reactions or complications

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

Educate patients and families on home care and post-treatment protocols

Collaborate with nephrologists and renal care teams
Requirements

Active RN license with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or eligibility to register

Minimum 1 year of recent hemodialysis nursing experience

Completed Hemodialysis Certification Program (preferred)

Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Up-to-date immunizations, TB clearance, and police check required
