Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to assist in the day surgery unit of a busy outpatient center in Kingston, ON.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor recovery

• Administer medications and IVs

• Maintain accurate pre- and post-operative documentation

• Communicate with surgeons and anesthesiologists

• Educate patients on recovery and discharge plans

Requirements

• RPN license with the CNO

• Experience in surgical or ambulatory care preferred

• Excellent assessment and documentation skills

• Calm under pressure and focused on safety

• Able to work early morning and evening shifts
