Job Overview

We are currently hiring a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a travel home care position in Victoria, BC. This role involves providing one-on-one personal care and assistance to clients in their homes, helping to support their independence and quality of life.

Ideal for PSWs who enjoy community-based work, flexibility, and developing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing)

• Provide mobility and transfer support

• Support light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Monitor client well-being and report changes to nursing supervisor

• Travel between client homes in designated service areas

Requirements

• Certified PSW or equivalent Health Care Assistant (HCA) credential

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

• Minimum 6 months – 1 year of home care or community support experience

• Current CPR/First Aid

• Fully vaccinated and clear background/vulnerable sector check

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
