Job Overview

We are currently hiring a compassionate and energetic Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for a travel assignment in a leading pediatric unit in Hamilton. In this role, you will assist in providing safe, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents across a range of medical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside care and emotional support to pediatric patients

• Administer medications and support feeding and hygiene

• Monitor and report changes in vital signs and conditions

• Assist in procedures and collaborate with pediatric healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate charting and documentation in EMR systems

• Promote a safe, comforting, and engaging care environment for children and families

Requirements

• Active RPN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in pediatric or acute care settings

• Current CPR (Level C) and First Aid

• Clear vulnerable sector check and immunization record

• Strong communication and family-centered care skills

• Pediatric training or certification (preferred)
