We are hiring compassionate and dependable Travel PSWs to support residents in a long-term care home in Toronto. You’ll assist with daily personal care needs, mobility, companionship, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment for elderly residents.

This is a rewarding opportunity for PSWs looking to gain diverse experience while making a meaningful impact in elder care—without committing to a permanent role.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Support safe ambulation, positioning, and transfers (using mobility aids as needed)

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as required

• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans

• Support infection prevention and cleanliness protocols in the unit

Anforderungen

• Gültig PSW-Zertifikat from a recognized Ontario program

• Registered and in good standing with the Ontario PSW Registry (if applicable)

• Recent experience in long-term care, retirement homes, or home/community support

• Aktuell CPR/Erste Hilfe Zertifizierung

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and TB screening

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
