We are seeking an experienced and fast-thinking Registrierte Krankenschwester (RN) zum Beitritt zum Emergency Department (ED) at a busy urban hospital in Toronto. The ideal candidate excels in high-pressure situations, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and is committed to delivering timely, compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with acute medical, surgical, and trauma conditions

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions

• Monitor vital signs and respond to deteriorating conditions quickly

• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and interdisciplinary teams

• Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families

• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital safety protocols

• Participate in emergency simulations, code blue responses, and disaster readiness

Anforderungen

• Aktiv RN-Lizenz mit dem College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

• Aktuell BLS, ACLS, und TNCC Zertifizierungen

• Minimum 2 Jahre of recent emergency or critical care experience

• Strong assessment, multitasking, and prioritization skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment

• Ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends

• Pediatric or mental health emergency experience (an asset)
