We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) für eine Reisevertrag in Red Deer. The ER handles a wide range of acute and urgent care cases, including trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and mental health. You’ll be expected to work under pressure while maintaining clinical excellence and compassionate care.

This role is ideal for RNs who thrive in dynamic, high-acuity environments and are confident in rapid assessment and stabilization skills.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Triage and assess patients upon arrival to the ER

• Provide immediate care for life-threatening conditions including trauma, cardiac arrest, stroke, etc.

• Initiate IVs, administer emergency medications, and perform wound care

• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and critical care teams

• Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition

• Maintain clear documentation and follow hospital ER protocols

• Educate patients and families on next steps and discharge care when applicable

Anforderungen

• Aktiv RN-Lizenz mit dem College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) oder Förderungswürdigkeit

• Minimum 2 Jahre of recent experience in Emergency Nursing

• Aktuell BLS und ACLS Erforderliche Zertifizierungen

• TNCC, PALS, und NFP certifications are strong assets

• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems

• Excellent decision-making and crisis intervention skills
