Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Function as scrub and circulating nurse during surgical procedures

• Maintain a sterile field and ensure instrument accuracy and availability

• Monitor patient condition throughout the intraoperative phase

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR techs

• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and respond promptly

• Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols

• Accurately document intraoperative care in the electronic health record

Anforderungen

• Aktiv RN-Lizenz mit dem British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)

• Completion of a Perioperative Nursing (OR) certificate or equivalent training

• Aktuell BLS und ACLS Zertifizierung

• Minimum 1-2 Jahre of recent experience in a hospital-based OR setting

• Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis and OR protocols

• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

• Willingness to work on-call and in emergency cases as needed
