We are seeking a compassionate and emotionally grounded Persönlicher Betreuer (PSW) sich einem engagierten Palliative Care team in Saint John. In this role, you will provide comfort, dignity, and support to patients nearing end-of-life, working closely with families, nurses, and hospice staff in either an inpatient or community setting.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional support

• Offer emotional companionship to patients and their families

• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team

• Maintain a calm and respectful environment in alignment with palliative care principles

• Provide comfort care such as repositioning, oral care, and relaxation techniques

• Support families during the grief process, acting with sensitivity and discretion

• Ensure cleanliness and safety in patient surroundings

Anforderungen

• Abschluss einer anerkannten PSW or HCA certificate program

• Experience in palliative or hospice care is highly preferred

• Aktuell CPR/Erste Hilfe Zertifizierung

• Strong emotional intelligence, patience, and communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism

• Clear criminal record check and updated immunization record required
