We are hiring a caring and energetic Assistant(e) personnel(le) (PSW) pour rejoindre un groupe de travail Unité pédiatrique in Saskatoon. In this role, you’ll support infants, children, and adolescents requiring inpatient care by providing personal assistance, emotional comfort, and basic clinical support under the supervision of the nursing team.

This is a great opportunity for PSWs with a passion for pediatric care and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young patients and their families.

Principales responsabilités

• Assist pediatric patients with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and dressing

• Provide comfort and companionship to children during hospital stays

• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and clean environment for young patients

• Support nursing staff in observing and reporting changes in patient condition

• Communicate clearly and kindly with children and their families

• Adhere to all safety, privacy, and infection control policies

Exigences

• Diplôme d'un institut de formation reconnu PSW or HCA certificate program

• Experience working with children or in pediatric settings is a strong asset

• Actuel CPR/BLS certification (infant/child module preferred)

• Patience, emotional resilience, and strong communication skills

• TB clearance, immunizations, and criminal background check required
