We are currently seeking a caring and skilled Infirmier(e) auxiliaire autorisé(e) (IAA) pour rejoindre un groupe de travail Pediatric Inpatient Unit en Windsor. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and families, and able to provide supportive, developmentally appropriate care to infants, toddlers, and adolescents in both medical and post-surgical settings.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RPN with a warm approach and a strong foundation in pediatric nursing.
Principales responsabilités

Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients under RN and physician direction

Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and response to treatments

Administer medications, perform dressing changes, and support daily routines

Assist in managing pain, anxiety, and family-centered care interventions

Document patient status and report significant changes promptly

Collaborate with RNs, pediatricians, child life specialists, and family members

Promote a safe and comforting environment for children and their families
Exigences
-
Active RPN license with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers de l'Ontario (OIIO)
-
Actuel BLS (CPR) certification (Pediatric First Aid an asset)

Minimum 6 months experience in pediatric, medical-surgical, or family health

Strong observational and communication skills, especially with children

Empathetic, patient-centered approach to care

Ability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts as required
