We are hiring a dedicated and empathetic Infirmier(e) auxiliaire autorisé(e) (IAA) pour rejoindre le Oncology Unit at a well-respected healthcare facility in Charlottetown, PEI. In this role, you will assist in providing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and other cancer-related treatments, working closely with RNs and oncologists in a multidisciplinary team environment.

This is a meaningful opportunity for RPNs passionate about cancer care, patient support, and long-term health outcomes.

Principales responsabilités

• Assist in preparing and monitoring patients receiving chemotherapy

• Perform vital sign assessments and symptom management

• Support patients through physical and emotional side effects of treatment

• Maintain accurate documentation of care and patient status

• Provide education and guidance to patients and families regarding treatment plans

• Collaborate with the nursing and oncology teams to ensure continuity of care

Exigences

• Active RPN license (PEI Nursing Board or eligible for licensure)

• Actuel BLS certification

• At least 6 months experience in oncology, medical-surgical, or chronic care

• Completion of oncology or chemotherapy support training is an asset

• Compassionate demeanor and excellent interpersonal communication

• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends if required
