We are actively seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse (RN) pour un contrat de voyage en Ottawa. In this high-acuity role, you’ll care for critically ill infants and children with complex medical, surgical, or trauma-related conditions.

Principales responsabilités

• Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients

• Monitor vitals, manage life-support equipment, and respond to rapid changes in condition

• Administer medications, IVs, and ventilator support

• Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, and child life specialists

• Provide emotional support and education to families

• Maintain detailed documentation using EMR systems

• Uphold strict safety and infection control standards

Exigences

• Actif Licence d'infirmier(ère) diplômé(e) avec le Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers de l'Ontario (OIIO) ou l'éligibilité

• Minimum 2 ans of recent experience in a Pediatric ICU or Pediatric Acute Care Unit

• Actuel BLS et PALS required (ACLS and TNCC are assets)

• Excellent critical care and pediatric assessment skills

• Fully vaccinated and clear vulnerable sector check

• Strong interpersonal and family-centered care approach
