We are seeking a caring and collaborative Infirmier(e) auxiliaire autorisé(e) (IAA) to join a multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Unit in Vancouver. The RPN will support patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, strokes, cardiac events, and mobility impairments as they transition from acute care to independent living.
This is an ideal role for RPNs who enjoy long-term patient interaction and contributing to meaningful recovery outcomes.
Principales responsabilités

Provide direct nursing care under supervision of RNs and physicians

Assist patients with daily activities, mobility exercises, and therapeutic routines

Monitor vital signs, medication administration, and pain levels
-
Support wound care and post-operative recovery
-
Educate patients and families on care plans, self-care, and discharge goals
-
Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers
-
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in care conferences
Exigences
-
Actif Licence RPN avec le Collège des infirmières et sages-femmes de la Colombie-Britannique (BCCNM)
-
Actuel BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Experience in rehabilitation, complex continuing care, or geriatric nursing (preferred)

Strong interpersonal, observational, and communication skills

Ability to assist with patient lifts, transfers, and positioning

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
