We are seeking a dependable and technically skilled Travel RPN to join a hospital-based Dialysis Unit in Thunder Bay. In this role, you’ll assist with the care of patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment, monitor vital signs, set up equipment, and support safe and efficient dialysis procedures.

Responsabilità principali

Prepare dialysis machines and patient stations according to safety protocols

Assist in initiating, monitoring, and discontinuing dialysis treatments

Monitor patients for changes in condition and report concerns to RNs or physicians

Provide patient education and emotional support during treatment sessions

Maintain accurate documentation related to fluid removal, medications, and observations
-
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and vascular access safety guidelines
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate ongoing care
Requisiti
-
Attivo Licenza RPN con il Collegio degli infermieri dell'Ontario (CNO)
-
Recent dialysis or nephrology unit experience (6+ months preferred)

Completion of recognized Hemodialysis Nursing Course (asset)

Attuale BLS certification

Strong attention to detail, communication, and time-management skills

Comfortable working rotating shifts and following unit-specific protocols

TB clearance, COVID-19 vaccination, and police check (required prior to start)
