Job Overview
We are currently recruiting a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join the critical care team at a leading hospital in Vancouver, BC. This position involves providing advanced life support, continuous monitoring, and complex interventions for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care to patients with multi-system failure, post-surgical complications, and trauma

Monitor and manage ventilators, IV drips, central lines, and other critical care equipment

Conduct thorough patient assessments and respond rapidly to changes in condition

Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals

Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all interventions

Participate in family conferences, code blue response, and ethical care discussions
Requirements

Active RN license in Canada (BCCNM – British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives)

Minimum 2 years recent ICU or high-acuity experience

Critical Care Certification or Post-Basic ICU course strongly preferred

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)

Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making, and teamwork skills

Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
