Job Overview
We are hiring a dedicated and adaptable Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Moncton. This role involves delivering high-quality care to patients recovering from surgery or managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Ideal for nurses who are team-oriented, clinically confident, and skilled at multitasking in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered care across diverse medical and post-op cases

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform routine assessments

Support wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and mobility assistance

Educate patients and families on post-discharge recovery plans

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

Document all care activities accurately in EMR systems

Follow established infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
-
Active RN license with the NANB (Nurses Association of New Brunswick) or eligibility
-
Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in med-surg or general acute care
-
Current BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)

Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills

Fully vaccinated and clear criminal/vulnerable sector background check

Willingness to work rotating shifts
