Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel NICU RN to join a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Saskatoon. You’ll provide critical care to premature and critically ill newborns, supporting both infant recovery and family involvement during hospitalization.
This position is ideal for skilled NICU nurses who are passionate about neonatal care and thrive in high-acuity, team-based environments.
Key Responsibilities

Provide intensive nursing care to neonates requiring respiratory support, feeding tubes, or post-surgical recovery

Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition

Administer IV fluids, medications, and manage neonatal ventilators

Educate and support parents throughout the care process

Maintain detailed documentation and follow neonatal care protocols

Collaborate closely with neonatologists, RTs, and NICU team members
Requirements

Active RN license with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or eligibility to register

Minimum 1 year of recent Level II or III NICU experience

NRP and BLS certifications required (ACLS and PALS an asset)

Strong assessment, communication, and critical care skills

TB clearance, full immunizations, and vulnerable sector check required
