Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Neurology Unit of a leading hospital in Regina. This role involves caring for patients with a range of neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, and post-neurosurgical recovery. You’ll be part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based care and improving outcomes for patients with complex neurological needs.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to neurology patients

Monitor and manage symptoms such as seizures, altered consciousness, and mobility impairments

Support neurosurgical post-op recovery, including frequent neuro assessments and monitoring

Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed

Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and ongoing care

Collaborate closely with neurologists, rehab therapists, and allied health professionals

Accurately document patient progress in EMR systems and contribute to discharge planning
Requirements

Active RN license with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or eligibility to register

Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care; neurology or neurosurgery preferred

Current BLS certification (ACLS an asset)

Strong neurological assessment and critical thinking skills

Clear vulnerable sector check and immunization record required
