Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and resilient Emergency Room RN to join the front-line team at a regional hospital in Yarmouth, NS. You’ll play a critical role in assessing and treating patients in urgent and emergent situations, working closely with a skilled clinical team in a high-demand environment.

Key Responsibilities

Triage patients and prioritize emergency care delivery

Perform rapid assessments, initiate IVs, administer medications

Respond to cardiac arrests, trauma cases, and medical emergencies

Document all interventions accurately and promptly

Communicate effectively with physicians, EMS, and support teams

Ensure patient and staff safety according to hospital protocols
Requirements
-
Active RN license in Canada (CRNNS or eligibility for NS licensure)

Minimum 1 year experience in emergency or critical care settings

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)

TNCC or trauma nursing certification is an asset

Strong clinical judgment and ability to remain calm under pressure

Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
