We are hiring an experienced and compassionate Travel RN to support a Pediatric Unit at a tertiary care facility in St. John’s. You’ll provide care to infants, children, and adolescents requiring medical and post-surgical support in a family-centered care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, age-appropriate care to pediatric patients across various conditions

• Administer medications, IV therapy, oxygen, and feeding tubes as per protocols

• Collaborate with pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and allied health teams

• Educate and support families, involving them in care planning

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and uphold safety standards

• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition with confidence and skill

Requirements

• Active RN license with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL) or eligible for registration

• Minimum 1 year of recent pediatric or child health nursing experience

• BLS and PALS certifications required

• Excellent communication and family-centered care approach

• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and emotional resilience

• TB clearance, immunizations, and background check required prior to start
