Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced and compassionate Travel RN to support a Pediatric Unit at a tertiary care facility in St. John’s. You’ll provide care to infants, children, and adolescents requiring medical and post-surgical support in a family-centered care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver holistic, age-appropriate care to pediatric patients across various conditions

Administer medications, IV therapy, oxygen, and feeding tubes as per protocols

Collaborate with pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and allied health teams

Educate and support families, involving them in care planning

Maintain accurate EMR documentation and uphold safety standards

Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition with confidence and skill
Requirements

Active RN license with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL) or eligible for registration

Minimum 1 year of recent pediatric or child health nursing experience

BLS and PALS certifications required

Excellent communication and family-centered care approach

Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and emotional resilience

TB clearance, immunizations, and background check required prior to start
