We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for a travel dialysis position in Ottawa. In this role, you’ll provide hemodialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease in a collaborative and supportive setting.

This is a great opportunity for RPNs with prior dialysis experience who are ready for a rewarding contract in Ontario’s capital city.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate dialysis machines and monitor treatment sessions

• Conduct pre- and post-treatment patient assessments

• Administer prescribed medications and anticoagulants

• Monitor patient responses and manage any complications

• Document procedures and patient progress in EMR systems

• Provide patient education and emotional support throughout treatment

Requirements

• Active RPN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in dialysis or renal nursing

• Completion of a recognized Dialysis/Nephrology Nursing Program (preferred)

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills

• Fully vaccinated with clear vulnerable sector check
