Job Overview
We are currently hiring a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a reputable Rehabilitation Unit in Saint John. This position offers the opportunity to support patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic surgery, spinal cord injuries, and other life-altering conditions. You will play a key role in fostering recovery, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing physical and cognitive rehabilitation

Monitor patient progress and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning

Administer medications and manage treatment protocols

Educate patients and families about recovery plans and at-home care

Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems

Uphold safety, dignity, and infection control standards
Requirements

Active RN license with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB) or eligibility to register

Minimum 1 year of experience in rehab, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred

Current BLS/CPR certification

Strong assessment, communication, and care coordination skills

Clear vulnerable sector screening and full immunization record required
